Washington Gov. Race May Tilt Dem

As certified by the Washington Secretary of State, Republican Dino Rossi was to be the next governor of the State, having defeated Democrat Christine Gregoire by 42-votes after a machine recount. Dems ponied up the cash for a hand recount, and – VOILA! – the elections director of heavily Democrat King County has discovered some 500 ballots which were not counted last time.

I have to be flippant, even though this could be valid. Flippancy: Are they going to send King County Elections Director Dean Logan to Ohio to "find" 120,000 ballots in Cuyahoga County?

Before you cede the Washington election to the Democrat you may want to consider: What are the statistical probabilities that, in a county where 40% of the electorate voted for the Republican, 100% of the randomly missed ballots 'found' would be for the Democrat, and 0% for the Republican?

Cuyahoga County already has a Dem as County electoral commish...so I think we'll respectfully pass on that generous offer
