Zell Miller on Mo Dowd

From The Buzz, in the Kansas City Star online:
Sen. Zell Miller, a Georgia Democrat, takes on New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, who was disheartened by Bush's victory. “You can see horns just sprouting up through (Dowd's) Technicolor hair.”

More: “The more Maureen Loud gets on ‘Meet the Press' and writes those columns, the redder these states get. I mean, they don't want some highbrow hussy from New York City explaining to them that they're idiots and telling them that they're stupid.”

Dowd responds, “I'm a highbrow hussy from Washington. Senator, pistols or swords?”
Oh, and the she reacts by threatening violence. The gal can crow with the best of 'em, but it is getting a tad old.
