Stephen Moore writes in NRO expressing support for protecting the Internet from "from tax-eater lobbying groups on Capitol Hill."
Of course, I am opposed to expanding any government's taxing powers, but especially to this vanguard of the free market we now have going online. When something is taxed, it's kneecaps are broken and it has to stagger along with whatever walking device the government deigns to give it. Or to crawl on its own to the nearest watering hole, which the government is already diverting to its own pets.
Keep the government as far away from the Internet as possible, in taxation and in regulation.
