The Sunday Morning Talk Shows
Tomorrow I view and review and analyze the talk shows for readers of the Rightsided Newsletter, and here's who we're going to be looking at.
Meet the Press (NBC): Host Tim Russert will talk to the uniquitous John McCain and that former CIA analyst Michael Scheuer, commissioned a while back to pen a Bush-bashing tome.
FOX News Sunday: Host Chris Wallace will have Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Pat Roberts (R-Kansas) and House Intell. ranking Dem Jane Harman of California, probably to further discuss DCI Porter Goss's housecleaning in a dangerously flawed intelligence agency. We know how both sides feel about the matter, but I suppose it doesn't hurt to underscore. He'll also talk to Robert Reich and Bill Bennett.
Face the Nation (CBS): Host Bob Schieffer will have a sit down with Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tennessee).
This Week (ABC): Host George Stephanopoulos will chat with dedicated Democrat Senators Jay Rockefeller of West Virginia and Michigan's Carl Levin. He'll also speak with Senate Majority Whip Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and wild-eyed Chuck Hagel of Nebraska.
Late Edition (CNN): Host Wolfgang Blitzer has this: Senator's Chuck E. Schumer (D-New York) and Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas); Representatives Loretta Sanchez (D-California), Jesse L. Jackson Jr. (D-Illinois) and Martin Frost (D-Texas); former secretaries of state Henry Kissinger and M. Albright; former CIA directors James Woolsey and Stansfield Turner; comedian Al Franken.
I will review and summarize the shows for Sunday's Rightsided Newsletter, to which you can subscribe for free by visiting the web site at http://rightsided.tripod.com, or by sending a blank e-mail to rsn-subscribe [AT] topica.com.
