Question for the Prime Minister
Question no. 1. Why should President Bush accept a disingenuous phone call of congratulations from Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero? [link]
In March, the Spanish Majorca Daily Bulletin quoted Zapatero:
"The first thing I will do when I am elected is to go to the United States and support John Kerry." [FOX News citation]
Zapatero is one of the few world leaders who has not received a reply to his congratulatory telegram, and the President has met with Spain's former Prime Minister José María Aznar since receiving the Zapatero telegram.
