Lieberman to Homeland Security

From Connecticut, the Danbury paper suggests the possibility that their Democrat Senator Joe Lieberman could move to the Bush cabinet as the next Secretary of Homeland Security -- a great fit -- with Republican Governor Jodi Rell appointing their Representative Nancy Johnson to fill the State's Senate void.

Johnson would be an almost certain GOP Senate Mod-squadder, sitting with Snowe, Collins, Specter, and Chafee. (The Mod is for Moderate, but liberal is often more apt.)
