Christian Evangelicals Run the GOP?

That's an MSM saw, explaining that which they cannot comprehend, but here's this from THE BUZZ off the web site of the Kansas City Star:
Jewish Republicans are happy with the appointment of Bush campaign manager Ken Mehlman as Republican Party chairman. They say he will help balance the notion that the party is commanded by evangelicals. Matthew Brooks of the Republican Jewish Coalition said the move “shows the growth and vitality of the Jewish Republican movement.”
The Jewish Republican movement. I wonder if those involved in the the MSM are capable of bringing themselves to conceive of such a thing.

Yep, there's a Jewish Republican group!
The Republican Jewish Coalition: http://www.rjchq.org
It's a growing group and they're even working on breaking the taboo that exists in the Jewish community about being a Republican.
I've got a button from them that says something along the lines of "Proud Jewish Republican"
