A change of Plans for Ohio papers

This afternoon, Editor & Publisher reported that newspapers across Ohio were gearing up for plans to cover the nail-biter almost known as the Ohio provisional ballot count. Kerry conceded, and "Ohio newsrooms scrambled to refocus coverage."

Perhaps they were "spoiled" by Al Gore's 2000 theatrics.

I have another take. It is generally accepted in most circles that Libya's Muammar Qadhafi gave up his WMD game when he saw what had happened to Saddam Hussein in Iraq. (It seems likely to me.) Qadhafi did not want to become a shriveled, humiliated, irrelevant, and bitter former dictator.

Perhaps JF Kerry decided not to push is Presidential quest when he considered what had happened to Al Gore. Kerry did not want to become a shriveled, humiliated, irrelevant, and bitter former Presidential candidate.
