The Ultimate Null: to flip-flop or to lie?

Here's this from David Limbaugh's Friday column:
Ironically, the person who has benefited most from John Kerry's reputation for flip-flopping is John Kerry himself, because he's not so much a flip-flopper as a fundamentally dishonest person, which his reputation for flip-flopping tends to conceal.
Kerry calls it nuance. The press call it the same and add that Kerry's brain operates at some sublime level.

John Kerry is not anything. For Kerry to have won the debate last night, he would have had to have convinced most people that he was something. He didn't. They still have little or no idea what John Kerry is, and that is because he isn't anything.

The ultimate null.
