The One on Air Force One
President Bush visited the press cabin onboard Air Force on Thursday for the third time since he became President; with him, he brought Senator John McCain, a man mentioned by JF Kerry Wednesday night as a junior Kerry partner in legislating.
He was spinning the debates. He is said to have portrayed himself as upbeat and ready for the "sprint to the finish."
He gets his bluntness from his mother and his linguistic lapses from his dad, he admitted.
Kerry had a mother too, of course, and he said her dying words of advice to him were: "Integrity, integrity, integrity." I don't think I have to comment.
