Libertarians in Texas

Texas has 32 Congressional districts, and 29 Republicans competing in them. There are also 28 Dems and 30 Libertarians. (The Libertarians are not challenging Republican Congressman Ron Paul, of course, and Representative Kay Grainger.)

Since the "conventional wisdom" assumption is that Libertarians draw more from Republicans than from Democrats, there is talk that Libertarian Steve Martin could hand the race to Democrat Martin Frost over Republican Jeff Sessions.

What is interesting is that this does not phase many Libertarians. They are purists, and the Republicans are seen as bloated state-monger lite.
