Kerry "struggling" in Massachusetts

According to the latest Merrimack College poll of 805 Massachusetts residents, only 50% support JF Kerry to be the next President, with a margin of error of 3.5%. Only 36% sided with President Bush, but this is Kerry's home State often considered to be the most liberal in the country. In addition, 54% of those surveyed were Democrats, with only 33% identifying themselves as Republican.

(Also, 44% of those surveyed thought their Governor Mitt Romney will seek the Presidency in 2008, for what that is worth.)
