Former White House counsel (George Bush the elder) C. Boyden Gray opines in Wednesday's Wall Street Journal that the issue of judicial nominees, and Democrat tactics in dealing with them, could push swing voters in tight States toward the President.

The stakes are high:
"[W]ill judges be returned to their historical role as neutral interpreters of the Constitution and precedent, or will the imperial judiciary be revitalized and extended for decades? It's up to Republicans to make clear the choice.
