Bush vrs. Kerry in California

The Los Angeles Times reports Thursday that new polls indicate that JF Kerry will win the State of California almost solely because he is not George W. Bush:
Californians' dislike for Bush's policies on everything from Iraq to the economy propelled support for Kerry. Even Bush's signature national issue — terrorism — worked against him in California, where nearly three in five likely voters disapproved of his handling of the war on terror.
Film, I assume, at 11.

The Los Angeles Times...

It's certainly charitable to call what the Times does "reporting", but I suppose that's what we called what Pravda did during the Soviet era. As a native Californian, I am surprised 2 out of 5 Californians are informed enough to support Bush. Considering 5 out of 5 Times' reporters, and 5 out of 5 editors support Kerry, that much Bush support is amazing.
