Bush Speaks in Wilkes Barre, PA

I don't know if it were Dick Cheney's strong performance last night, but this morning in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, I saw a confident President Bush attack JF Kerry on all fronts. We've 27 days left.

Taking it as a look ahead to tomorrow's debate, we should see a more assured, less spacey President treating Kerry as the strange man who has escaped briefly from his Senate asylum.

--- Here is a transcript of the President's remarks Wednesday morning. It will be interesting to see if Kerry responds today. He is said to be immersed in debate prep. The President, on the other hand, is said to think he was too prepped from last Thursday's debate -- too controlled and thus not able to be his usual relaxed, confident, and affable self.
